UK ambassador meets Mohammed bin Khalifa

ABU DHABI — Shaikh Mohammed bin Khalifa Al Nahyan, Chairman, Abu Dhabi Finance Department, received yesterday Richard Makepeace, Ambassador of the United Kingdom to the UAE, to discuss matters of mutual interest.

Shaikh Mohammed and Makepeace explored bilateral venues of cooperation between the UAE and the UK, hinged on the unique and strengthening ties between the two countries in all fields.

They discussed ways and means to further boost the existing bilateral relations to the best advantage of both the nations.

Shaikh Mohammed was of the view that the UAE and the UK enjoy a unique status in the relations. He said these relations — based on the vision of the President, His Highness Shaikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan — have attracted investments and encouraged economic development.
