UAQ Food Lab to Function from March
UMM AL QUWAIN - The new food laboratory of Umm Al Quwain will become operational next month when it gets power supply, Dr Mousabbah Rashid Humaid, Director-General of the municipality announced recently.
The Dh8 million laboratory was completed three years ago, but it was not functioning as electricity supply was not given.
“It is one of the vital departments the civic body will depend on for testing and analysing all food items,” he said.
