UAE traffic: Accident, tailbacks delay motorists in UAE

Heavy congestion was reported on various roads in UAE on Monday morning due to multiple accidents.
Dubai Police reported an accident at 8:58am through their official Twitter handle, stating the incident had occurred on Al Ittihad Road towards Sharjah, resulting in traffic delays.
They advised drivers to take caution and take alternative routes.

According to Google Maps, commuters travelling near Zabeel street towards Emirates Towers were also caught in long queues.

Traffic jams were observed on Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Road (E311) around Al Nahda area towards Dubai.
