UAE to host meeting of donor states for Red Cross and RCS
ABU DHABI - The UAE will host the Second Forum for Donor Countries for the International Association of the Red Cross and the Red Crescent Societies on October 4 and 5 under the patronage of Shaikh Hamdan bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Minister of State for Foreign Affairs and Chairman of UAE RCS.
Khalifa Nasser Al Suweidi, Board Chairman of the UAE RCS, said that holding the forum in the UAE is a result of the unique status UAE RCS enjoys among international community of charitable societies. "Thanks to the efforts of the President, His Highness Shaikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan and His Highness Shaikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces, the UAE is hosting this important forum", he added.
