UAE-RCS braces for Ramadan projects

ABU DHABI — The UAE Red Crescent Society (UAE-RCS) has completed its preparations for the projects to be implemented in the holy month of Ramadan.

Khalifa Nasser Al-Swaidi, chairman of the board of UAE-RCS, said that aid would be provided to 52 countries by the Society during Ramadan.

The value of these projects is estimated at Dh470,000.

He thanked the President, His Highness Shaikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan, General Shaikh Mohammad bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces, and Shaikh Hamdan bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister and chairman of the UAE-RCS for their continued support to the Society.
