DUBAI — The Lebanese-Emirati Friendship Association has raised Dh6.5 million in support of the Dubai Cares campaign, through a charity dinner and auction held recently in Dubai.
Addressing members of the association, Minister of State for Cabinet Affairs Mohammed Abdullah Al Gergawi highlighted the long-standing UAE-Lebanon relations and said successful cooperation has always been the hallmark of relations between the two countries.
Meanwhile, Emarat recently welcomed students of Dubai’s Jumeirah School who collected donations from Emarat staff from various divisions and departments. Emarat had issued a circular in early October asking employees to donate one day’s salary to Dubai Cares.
