ABU DHABI — Upgrading quality education, institutions and learning methods are taking top priorities at the strategies of the UAE leadership at the present and future out of its conviviction of the vital role the well-qualified, trained and productive human resources can play in the comprehensive development and tackle challenges ahead, according to General Shaikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces.
“The best and feasible investment is the one which seeks to hone the skills of our children to be creative, productive and maker of a better future,” Gen. Shaikh Mohammed said during talks yesterday with US Secretary of Education Margaret Spellings, who is currently visiting the country.
“Under globalisation, a high quality education and its qualitative output gives an added value that is not only higher than the value generated by the capital but also provides natural resources which are seen as the key driving force to build and develop capacities of individuals for greater creative and productive life that can contribute to finding solutions to multi-faceted human problems,” he said.
