UAE is dealing seriously with human trafficking file : MoI

ABU DHABI A delegation from the Ministry of Interior has toured the Czech Republic, Britain and France to learn insights from their best practices in combating human trafficking and organised crime.

The UAE delegation exchanged expertise and experiences with government officials, human rights defenders and fighters of human trafficking and organised crime in the three European countries.

Colonel Saeed Al Rashidi, Director of Administration of Follow up of Foreigners and Violators and head of the delegation, said the three European nation tour aimed at getting first hand information about measures for reducing human trafficking crimes.

He affirmed that the Ministry of Interior is dealing seriously with this file and is making strenuous efforts to fighting crime in collaboration with regional and international specialized organisations.

He underscored that the UAE is an active member in the international drive against these abusive and coercive crimes.
