UAE invited to crime summit
ABU DHABI — The UAE has received an invitation to take part in the forthcoming International Summit on Transnational Crime to be held in Monaco from October 13 to 15.
The summit will discuss international terrorism including new forms of terrorism at the outset of the 21st century, "privatisation" of terrorism and money dirtying, terrorism and drug trafficking, the use of the Information Technology by terrorist organisations, the fight against terrorism, privacy, and protection of databases. It will also discuss counterfeiting and organised crime and mafias, how to mobilise against organised crime on national and international levels?, major computer oriented crimes, counterfeiting and its economic and social consequences
