Participants will get together at the Marina Mall, Abu Dhabi on the set date to form the huge map and pay tribute in their own way to the late Shaikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nayhan, in recognition and appreciation of the charitable and humanitarian efforts of the Father of the Nation.

“The event will be organised in memory of the Shaikh Zayed’s generous initiatives which were aimed to encourage charitable work, cooperation and efforts to alleviate human suffering,” noted Dr Adel Abdullah Al Shameri, head of Emirates World Heart Group, organisers of the event.

“Humanitarian work transcends all borders,” he said. “A number of heart patients who are in need of heart surgeries but are not covered by the public health programmes will benefit from the functions of the charitable event.

The formation of the huge UAE map will be featured with Shaikh Zayed’s photo surrounded by flags of other countries symbolising the wide reach of his global philanthropic initiatives.
