UAE-French joint “Gulf 2012” military exercise kick off

The “Gulf 2012” joint is one in a series of joint exercises which launched in 1996 and conducted once every four years,

The exercise which is not related to the recent regional and international developments aims to improve the combat efficiency of the forces of both countries and planning and conducting joint operations.

For several days, the forces from both countries will engage in training as part of the cooperation, coordination and sharing of military expertise and information agreement which was signed in 1995.
