UAE Force in Afghanistan delivers 30 tons of relief assistance
KABUL—The UAE Force in Afghanistan has distributed 30 tons of urgent food assistance to regions affected by recent floods.
The UAE troops have delivered the relief materials in coordination with the Afghan Red Crescent Society (ARCS). President of the ARCS Fatima Gailani commended the role the UAE military unit is assuming in delivering and securing humanitarian assistance to the Afghan people.
She said their mission is alleviating suffering of the Afghan people who underwent scores of crises and calamities.
The UAE unit is also implementing an iftar programme in the Parwan Province.
