UAE campaign for needy children
gains momentum in Africa, Asia

RABAT — A UAE worldwide health campaign to offer health care services to needy children has screened and cured 1,000 poor Moroccan children on the first leg of an international humanitarian mission that will initially take it to Egypt, Pakistan, Indonesia, India, Eritrea and Sudan.

Dr Sabah Al Ayashi, Director of Missour Hospital in Morocco praised Shaikha Fatima bint Mubarak, Supreme Chairperson of the Family Development Foundation, for her care for easing the suffering of the underprivileged categories across the world.

The Moroccan health official made her remarks during a meeting with the UAE visiting medical team.

The medical team had screened over 1000 children suffering from digestive and respiratory disorders and congenital deformities. About 60 surgeries were conducted successfully. —
