Abu Dhabi TV’s ‘Prince of Poets’ won the award for the best variety show.
In the Historical Drama category, Abu Dhabi TV’s ‘Duroob al-Khataya’ won the gold while Dubai TV’s ‘Hanna and Ranna’ won a silver in the comedy category.
Saqr Ghobash Saeed Ghobash, Minister of Labour and Chairman of the National Media Council, led the UAE delegation to the festival held from February 9. The delegation comprised representatives of the Abu Dhabi Media Company, Dubai Media Incorporated and
the Sharjah Media Foundation, all of whom participated in the festival under the umbrella of the National Media Council (NMC).
