In the first case, 15-year-old Khalid Mohamed Kamal fell from a fifth floor apartment’s balcony in Ras Al Khaimah while he was stretching out to look down at a car accident on the street.

A senior officer from RAK Police said, “Kamal was admitted to the intensive care unit with serious head injuries and multiple spinal fractures. He died after a few hours.”

In the second case, a Filipino worker, Erdalfo Gonzar, 39, was seriously injured when a bag of sand fell on his head while he was at work. He was an employee of a glass manufacturing company in the Al Jazeira area of Ras Al Khaimah.
