The military wing of Hamas said Kfir Bibas, had been killed in an earlier Israeli bombing, along with his four-year-old brother Ariel and their mother
On July 17, police received a report from S.O.A., a Yemeni national, who reported that all eight tyres were stolen off his Abu Dhabi-registered trailer truck parked in the courtyard of the company he worked for in Qusais No. 3 area. The victim had discovered his truck propped up on car jacks and concrete bricks at 12.30am that night and alerted the watchman of the site.
Following intensive investigation police ascertained the identity of the thieves and arrested them in Nayef area of Deira on July 20. The defendants told police they had sold four of the tyres to a trader in the area. The trader told police that he had no knowledge the trailer truck wheels were stolen.
The court also sentenced A.J.K., a 32-year-old UAE national, to four years in prison for drug abuse. Police arrested the defendant at his home in Qusais in July this year after they received reliable reports that the defendant, who was a repeat drug offender, was abusing morphine. The crime lab found traces of illegal drugs in the defendant’s blood stream.
