Two men, six women jailed in prostitution case

DUBAI - The Dubai Criminal Court of First Instance yesterday sentenced Chinese men J.B and W.Z. to six months in jail followed by deportation for running a prostitution ring.

The court also sentenced J.T., Y.Y., H.J., A.M., K.A., C.J. and L.C. - all Chinese women - to six months in jail followed by deportation for indulging in prostitution.

According to the Dubai court records, on December 1, 2007, the Dubai Police were tipped off that the convicted were using a place in Muraqqabat area for prostitution. All of them were arrested from the place.
