DUBAI— Dubai Police have arrested two Vietnamese men involved in thefts of cables from various construction sites in Dubai.
Earlier, a company official had informed Dubai Police that someone had broken open the door of a warehouse at the construction site of a contracting company and taken away copper electric cables.
The two suspects were nabbed in Nad Al Shiba on September 29 while they were sitting in a taxi. The taxi driver told the police that the two had boarded the taxi in Al Qouz industrial area and had asked him to transport them to a Nad Al Shiba area in Dubai.
When the police searched the taxi, they found quantities of electric cables.
The police arrested the two men, Vietnamese nationals Cow Tana and Van .C. —
