OCCUPIED JERUSALEM - The Palestine Satellite Channel telecast on Thursday a special programme highlighting the remarkable achievements in various fields in the UAE.
In a statement made through the special reportage aired on the occasion of UAE’s 38th National Day, the Chief Editor of Al Hayat daily, Hafiz Al Bargouthi, said that year 38 means that UAE is close to its 40th year, considered to be the year of wisdom.
But UAE has been distinguished with wisdom since the first day of its formation, as the late Shaikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan, with his profound wisdom founded a country, which was the first successful Arab experience of a united nation that turned out to be an Arab model, he remarked.
UAE’s humanitarian role and its support to the Palestinian cause were well portrayed in the special feature, in which the inhabitants of Jenin Refugee Camp thanked UAE for its help to rebuild the camp.
