TV Lanka joins E-vision
DUBAI - TV Lanka, the first Sri Lankan global digital satellite television channel, has joined the network of E-vision, UAE's exclusive digital cable TV provider.
E-vision has described the addition of the 24-hour channel as a gift for all Sri Lankans in the UAE on the occasion of their New Year festival. TV Lanka will be available on channel 48 of E-vision as part of the basic package that comprises 80 channels available in 16 countries for a monthly charge of Dh50.
According to Humaid Rashid Al Sahoo, chief executive officer, the TV Lanka's addition reflects the company's commitment to bringing viewers everything that they are looking for. Broadcasting from Sri Lanka , TV Lanka will have 12-hour transmission today for special New Year programmes.
