Transport award panel discusses modalities
DUBAI — A committee of the Dubai Award for Sustainable Transport (DAST) — launched recently by Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) — yesterday reviewed the expertise, achievements and findings of the Dubai Government Excellence Programme (DGEP).
At the meeting yesterday, the DAST discussed about the three types of organisations that will be participating in the award. They include local and federal government organisations, private sector organisations, and public organisations in Dubai.
Essa Al Dossari, head of the committee, explained the procedures of applying for the award. Organisations can apply by completing the specified application form and reviewing the comprehensive Participant’s Guide of the Award.
RTA will shortly launch a comprehensive information programme to introduce the award. A web site will also be developed for the award.
