Colonel Mohamed Al Awady Al Manhaly, Director-General of Human Resources at Abu Dhabi police, said the programme was in consistence with the directives of Lieutenant-General Shaikh Saif bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Minister of Interior, aimed at qualifying the cadres of Abu Dhabi police as well as adopting modern concepts in training.

He added: "We are looking forward to the officers competing to achieve the objective of the General Administration of Human Resources to train and upgrade the national cadres."

Lieutenant-Colonel Jassim Al Marzouki, Director of Training Administration, addressed the attendees and said that Abu Dhabi Police General Headquarter was very keen on qualifying its cadres and improving their competence.

Thirty-two officers divided into two separate groups in both Abu Dhabi and Al Ain are undergoing the training which will last for six months to one year.
