An official said the week includes an exhibition, a number of seminars and workshops in addition to company's presentations.

The exhibition will be opened by Shaikh Nahyan bin Mubarak Al Nahyan, Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, and will be attended by senior officials.

“This will be ensured through an active and effective promotional campaign using the proper marketing channels,” he added.

The main objective of the event is to highlight the relationship between the three partners in the development process: employers, job seekers and training providers.

"It brings these partners under one roof to meet and get to know what each can offer," said the source.

Organisations interested in employing UAE nationals will have the opportunity to show their interest and what they expect and offer, he said.

Graduates, job-seekers and students will come to explore employment opportunities as well as educational and training programmes, he added.

The source said that training providers will find this an ideal forum to meet the decision makers of large organisations as well as students, both of whom can be their potential customers.
