The changes, which are temporary, were made by Ajman Police in cooperation with the Ajman Municipality and Public Directorate (AMPD).

Colonel Sultan Bin Abdullah Al Nuaimi, Deputy Director of Ajman Police noted that changes in direction of traffic have been made on Al Nuaimia road which links the emirates of Sharjah and Ajman.

“Motorists coming from Shaikh Zayed road or from side roads in Al Nuaimia area will have to move on the right side of the road till they reach Shaikh Khalifa Bin Zayed road in Ajman. Movement on the road will get back to normal once work is completed on the four U-turns being constructed in coordination with Sharjah Directorate of Public works.”

When asked about the location of the four u-turns Colonel Al Nuaimi noted that two u-turns are located in Al Nuaimia area while the other two are located towards Sharjah.

“Police patrols and traffic inspectors will be deployed on the road to organise the traffic movement on the road while ensuring that motorists strictly abide by the traffic rules and regulations.

Motorists are urged to abide by the speed limit and follow the instructions of the instructive signboards placed on the road.”
