Sultan Al Jaber calls on the participants to deliver an outcome that respects the science
The strategy has been launched to coincide with the inaugural three-day World Future Energy Summit (WFES), which began yesterday.
During the lead-up to the much-anticipated WFES, which will address the necessity of global energy conservation and pressing environmental challenges, ADNEC is launching its strategy — ‘Reduce, Reuse and Recycle’ — which focuses on the minimising and recycling of exhibition waste.
ADNEC has also commenced a long-term education programme to train both exhibitors and contractors about waste responsibility and disposal solutions.
Simon Horgan, ADNEC chief executive officer, said: “ADNEC is acting to reduce the negative environmental impact of exhibitions.”
