Three hurt in car accident
Rashid Al Miqbaly, an administrative officer at Al Ain hospital, said the accident occurred at 7.30am yesterday when the driver, accompanied by his friends, was driving at a high speed. The car was headed towards Al Ain when the driver suddenly lost control of the vehicle. The tyre burst and the car turned several times over. Traffic police rushed to the spot for investigation while the Civil Defence came to the rescue of the injured, who were taken to the Al Ain hospital from where they were discharged after a quick medical check-up.
An Asian worker was injured while at work in Mazyad and another Asian was hurt in the industrial area," said Rashid Al Miqbaly. An official source at the Al Ain hospital said that traffic safety rules should be maintained.
