Three delighted with fine DDF surprise
DUBAI — UAE-based Filipino, Vicente T. Medenceles Jr., was surprised upon hearing the news that his ticket in Dubai Duty Free's Finest Surprise Promotion had won him a Mercedes Benz S500.
Fifty-three-year-old Mr Medenceles, holder of ticket No. 0449 in Series 1154 said that this win would be a double celebration for him as he had just celebrated 10 years in SGS Gulf Limited as a Petroleum Inspector. He had bought his winning ticket from Dubai Duty Free when he travelled on September 4 with his wife and three children.
Anwar Kabbara, a Beirut-based Lebanese businessman, is very happy that this time his purchase of ticket No. 0996 in Series No. 38 has given him the chance to own a luxurious Harley Davidson Heritage Softail. Mr Kabbara is a frequent visitor to Dubai and has participated in the Dubai Duty Free Finest Surprise and Millennium Millionaire Promotion for quite sometime now. Mohammed S. Al Mussher, a Saudi national based in Riyadh, holder of ticket No. 0732 will no doubt be delighted to know that he had won a BMW 745Li in Series 1152.
Meanwhile, Mr Indrajit Datta, an Indian national, winner of the Mercedes Benz S500 in Series 1150 was thrilled to take his luxurious winning car to Oman.
