Tatweer donates Dh60m to charity

DUBAI —Donations continue to pour in for ‘Dubai Cares’ campaign. Tatweer, a member of Dubai Holding, announced a donation of Dh60 million to the ‘charity drive yesterday. Raheem Belghozoz Al Zarooni, Chairman of Dubai Sports City (DSC), extended a donation of Dh10 million, and Tameer, a real estate developer in the Middle East, donated Dh5 million to the campaign recently.

Meanwhile, Dubai Men’s College (DMC) is organising a students’ fund-raising project as part of the campaign.

The project, which began yesterday, will eventually encompass all HCT campuses before concluding on October 22. Members of the Student Administration Council (SAC), Foundations Department and Level 1 students will lead the drive that will target DMC students, staff and teachers.
