Tasjeel launches donation drive
DUBAI — Tasjeel, a joint venture of ENOC and Roads Transport Authority (RTA), has launched its yearly campaign, ‘Dirham wa’Bas’ for the holy month of Ramadan.
Through the campaign running in its second year, Tasjeel will donate one dirham from every car registration fee to Beit Al Khair Society, a local charity organisation that provides financial support to orphans and underprivileged people in the UAE. Tasjeel offers hassle-free vehicle testing and registration services.
“ENOC Tasjeel is committed to supporting disadvantaged people by working closely with local and international charity organisations,” said Ayas Bin Hendi, General Manager of ENOC Tasjeel. The previous year’s drive successfully raised around Dh100,000 and Bin Hendi said the campaign complements various efforts undertaken by the ENOC Group in Ramadan to support and assist the underprivileged in the UAE. — news@khaleejtimes.com
