The visit was part of Tanmia’s strategy of exchanging experiences and best practices with other governments and organisations related to human resource development (HRD) in the GCC countries, with an underlying goal of furthering the emiratisation process in the UAE.

The visit focused on identifying various areas pertaining to work force nationalisation and manpower training, including recruitment process in the private sector through the use of the labour market information system, the role of the small business sector in promoting nationalisation and encouraging the growth of the sector across the region.

The Tanmia delegation also discussed ways to best utilise the funds allocated for nationalisation initiatives.

The Tanmia team’s visit included a meeting with select group of recruitment managers in Kuwait to learn more about the HR policies adopted to maximise employment of nationals in the work force, especially in the private sector.
