SZHP benefits for nationals serving challenged people

DUBAI — National workers in institutions for people with special needs will benefit from the Shaikh Zayed Housing Programme (SZHP), just as those working in government schools are doing, according to a directive issued by Shaikh Hamdan bin Mubarak, Minister of Public Housing and Chairman of the Shaikh Zayed Housing Programme.

The facility will entitle them to apply for loans and grants from the programme.

Commenting on the directive, Mariam Mohammed Khalfan Al Roumi, Minister of Social Affairs, appreciated the generous gesture, which will be widely welcomed by the workers in centres for the people with special needs.

There are about 150 national employees at the Ministry's five such centres in Dubai, Ras Al Khaiman, Fujairah, Ajman and Dibba Al Fujairah.
