The visitors will be received by policemen who will present them with sweets and gifts as they enter the emirate.

The welcoming initiative, on the instructions of Colonel Mohammed bin Ghanim Al Ka’abi, Director-General of Fujairah Police, is being undertaken for the fourth year as part of the police’s efforts to build close ties with the public.

Taskforces will be deployed at many points, including Juma market at Masafi, Cement factory roundabout and Al Fagait area in Dibba Fujairah, a Press release said.

These steps are part of the concept of community policing, which aims at gaining public confidence and establishing mutual respect.
