The draw, which took place at Nad Al Sheba just before the start of the Group 1 Dubai Duty Free race, was made by Dubai Duty Free officials headed by Managing Director, Colm McLoughlin.

Andrew, who has worked for Zurich International in Dubai for the past 10 years, was enjoying the evening's racing as a guest of Dubai Duty Free in the Maktoum Grandstand and could not believe his luck when he discovered that his Finest Surprise ticket had been drawn.

A double check of his ticket and numerous phone calls to the Dubai Duty Free officials to confirm the number and Andrew was quickly on his way down to the presentation area to collect the keys to the luxury car. "I've never won anything in my life before," said a clearly delighted Andrew. "I want to thank Dubai Free for making this Dubai World Cup such a memorable one."

Presenting Andrew with the keys to the Bentley, Mr McLoughlin said: "It is terrific to be able to draw a winner and present them with their prize there and then. We are delighted that the Finest Surprise draw has become such a popular part of the evening."

Finest Surprise tickets for the Bentley went on sale last Thursday at Nad Al Sheba to coincide with the world's richest horse race and had sold out by 6pm that evening.
