Representing select Arab organisations in the field of human development, media and human rights, the organisers of the forum are the Regional Office of Unicef, Middle East and North Africa, the Arab Institute for Human Rights, Al Bayan newspaper and the Dubai Press Club.
Leading experts on Human Rights besides decision makers from the Arab media organisations will examine the current status of girls' education at the regional level, while reviewing the latest developments in education strategies implemented around the world. The forum will also discuss the role of mass media in promoting awareness about these issues in light of the International Girls' Education Initiative.
Mohammed Al Mansoori, Organising Committee member and Executive Director of Dubai Press Club, said leading personalities and media experts will participate in the forum, which will open the way for media organisations to enhance coverage of Arab children's issues and at the same time create awareness about children's rights to ensure a secure and stable future for them.
