Specialised training to prepare youth for skilled jobs

FUJAIRAH — The Fujairah Chamber for Commerce, Industry and Agriculture, in collaboration with the Administrative Development Institute, has awarded graduation certificates to graduates of the Specialised Training Programme.

The Specialised Training Programme targetted training and technical skills of the participants with regard to modern computer systems, accounting, public relations, English language and secretarial work.

The programme, in which several unemployed youth as well as employed persons seeking to honing their skills participated, prepares the students for employment.

The graduation ceremony was attended by Shaikh Seif bin Hamd bin Seif Al Sharqy, President of Fujairah Free Zone Authority, Saeed Khamas, Chairman of Fujairah Chamber, Dr Youssif Eissa Al Sabry, General Manager of the Administrative Development Institute and Khalid Mohammad Al Jassim, General Manager of Fujairah Chamber.

Saeed Khamas underlined the Chamber’s endeavours to hold training sessions for the youth to make them eligible for skilled jobs besides encouraging them to set up small-scale businesses.

Fujairah Chamber has also completed a proposal to establish and promote such projects to support the initiatives taken by youth with investment, he added.

Hamd Ahmad Al Shaikh thanked the organisers of the training programme.
