The tournament that attracts over 50 professionals from UAE, Turkey, Egypt, Austria and the UK will be held at the Abu Dhabi Golf Club.

Over 50 children with special educational needs from the Future Centre and ILA Special Care Centre participated in the competition held yesterday at the Abu Dhabi mall, painting pictures of their favourite sport or game. Four were chosen for the charity auction which will be held during the prize-giving gala dinner on November 18 at the Crowne Plaza Hotel, Abu Dhabi.

Extrapolating from the previous years figures, the organisers said, each painting is expected to fetch over Dh8000.

That along with the revenue generated from the Golf tournament will be donated to Future Centre and ILA Special Care Centre, said the BP representative. Last year, the tournament had collected around Dh150,000.

The remaining pictures went on sale at the Abu Dhabi mall for Dh50 each.
