ABU DHABI — Poor supervision of children in cinema halls in the capital is causing concern as staff there have been unable to stop them from making disturbing noises and even smoking much to the annoyance of others in the audience.
But cinema managements are quick to deny this saying that their ushers constantly monitor the audiences.
City Times has encountered some cases. Most recently, in one cinema hall, children, unattended by adults, were seen smoking what appeared to be pipes and made loud noise throughout a film. No staff in the cinema told the children to stop misbehaving despite requests from other visitors.
