Smooth Vehicular Movement During FIFA Club World
ABU DHABI — The Department of Traffic and Patrols, Abu Dhabi Police, intensified its efforts to ensure smooth vehicular movement during the FIFA Club World Cup being staged in the Capital until December 19.
Colonel Adeel Hamad Al Shamsi, director of the department, said police patrols had facilitated the entry and exit of spectators at the stadia and regulated traffic movement around it.
“The aim is to reduce misconduct by road users. Policemen were ordered to book everyone who drove or behaved rashly including standing on vehicle roofs or jumping out of car windows,’’ he said.
