Sixty Illegal Residents Held

RAS AL KHAIMAH - The Ras Al Khaimah Naturalisation and Residence Department (RAK NRD) have arrested 60 people for violating residency laws.

Colonel Sultan Yusuf Al Nuaimi,Director of the RAK NRD, said their inspectors arrested the violators during a surprise inspection campaign carried out at their houses in the different areas of Ras Al Khaimah on Thursday. The violators were of different Arab and Asian nationalities, and have been referred to authorities for subsequent action.

The RAK NRD will continue with the inspections in different areas to crackdown on illegal residents in the emirate. ismail@khaleejtimes.com
