It is a physical activity programme aimed at primary school children in the pre-teen group and Al Haraka Baraka aims to integrate physical activity as a part of the students' daily regime for a healthier life.

Al-Laalee Model School, Al Ain Model School, Al-Thiqa Model School, Nahel School, Sigi School and Adhan School were selected from 30 UAE schools and honoured in the presence of Dr Fouzia Badri, the Executive Director of Educational Affairs and Ahmed Bayoumi, General Manager of Mars GCC.

Christine Greaves, Corporate Affairs Manager of Mars GCC, said, "Habits developed in childhood last a lifetime. We are all aware of the rising health concerns in the region due to a sedentary lifestyle.

“This is why Mars GCC partnered with the UAE's MoE, Arab Nutrition Centre and King Saud University to develop this initiative, which was very much in line with Mars GCC core principles and the commitment to our local community."
