Sindh extends Rangers powers for four months

Sindh Chief Minister Qaim Ali Shah has extended special powers for Rangers for the next four months, expressing hope that the paramilitary force would continue to work with the similar enthusiasm with which it is operating in Karachi.
According to a spokesman for the chief minister, the specials powers to the Rangers have been given under the anti-terrorism act.
The statement comes hours before the Rangers' powers expire.
