Shujaat called on Jamali in Balochistan House and later declared to the media that all differences have been resolved. The PML leader blamed the Press for creating a hype about infighting within the Pakistan Muslim League (PML). “A non-issue is being projected as a critical issue,” he remarked.

Shujaat said his statement regarding Jamali’s resignation from the PML was misquoted by the Press that created his misunderstanding with the former premier. He clarified his statement to Jamali who responded positively.

Shujaat explained that Jamali had left the PML-Q when he resigned as prime minister. Afterwards all factions of the Pakistan Muslim League merged into a unified entity and Jamali is an important member of that party.

Jamali in a brief chat with newsmen said he had never worked against Mr. Shujaat nor challenged his status as PML president.
