Sharjah varsity classes to resume on Saturday
SHARJAH- Around 3,474 new and returning students of the University of Sharjah (UoS) will start classes for the new academic year on September 6, said Dr Ismael Al Beshri, the newly-appointed Chancellor.
He pointed out that of the total number of students, 724 are new students admitted this year to the various specialisations offered at the institution.
"The university is fully prepared to start the new academic year with new students and more faculty have been appointed to join the teaching staff. The main reason for appointing the new faculty is to meet the rising number of students joining the university."
