Sharjah to host meet on alternative medicine
SHARJAH - More than 20 professors and doctors from the Islamic Organisation for Medical Sciences (IOMS) and about 12 Arab and Western countries will participate in the First Sharjah Scientific Conference for Alternative Medicine which will be organised by the Sharjah medical district from October 11 to 13.
The organising committee of the conference headed by Shaikh Mohammad bin Saqr Al Qasimi, Assistant Under-Secretary of the Ministry of Health (MoH) and Director of Sharjah medical district, has approved the programmes.
This was announced during a meeting of the organising committee.
Speaking at the meeting, Shaikh Mohammed said that the conference, set to take place under the directives of His Highness Dr Shaikh Sultan bin Mohammed Al Qasimi, Member of the Supreme Council and Ruler of Sharjah, will feature the latest medical researches and studies which proved successful in treating many diseases.
