Sharjah forum calls for more creative role for Arab youth
DUBAI - The Fourth Sharjah Arab Youth Forum, which concluded yesterday, has recommended setting up of an association based in Sharjah that gives youth issues their due attention and be a forum to direct their energies and express their aspirations.
The meet further recommended setting up of a web site linked to the Sharjah Arab Youth Forum. The participants this year also hailed the role of the Emirate of Sharjah in holding the forum and stressed the need to hold the conference in a different Arab city every year.
The participants recommend paying extra attention to the creative and artistic aspects of the youth taking part in the forum's programmes and publishing such creative works in booklets to encourage talented youth to showcase their skills.
