Shaikh Mohammed extends Global village closing date
Dubai - His Highness Shaikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice-President and Prime Minister of UAE and Ruler of Dubai today ordered extension in the closing date of Dubai Global Village until 31st March instead 3rd of March, 2012.
He also directed all governmental departments to continue providing the necessary support and services to ensure the success of Dubai Global Village.
The decision comes within the framework of Shaikh Mohammed’s keenness to maximize the social and cultural return for this huge annual event which is of great interest by the Emirati families, residents and thousands of visitors from around the world.
It is worth mentioning that since launching Global Village in 1997, it became one of the most important regional leading destinations, which includes rich cultural & civilized diversity, as well includes a variety of restaurants and shops from around the world, where it is classified as the most prominent & family entertaining destination in the region.
