DUBAI --His Highness Shaikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, UAE Vice President, Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai, has attended in the presence of Shaikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai, Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II, and representatives from Commonwealth Countries, the second day of Royal Scot Horserace in England, which will conclude on Saturday.

Royal Ascot is Britain's most valuable race meeting, attracting many of the world's finest racehorses to compete for more than GBP 5.5milllion in prize money over the five-day meeting. It dates back to 1711.

The UAE horses performed well in the event.

The event was also attended by Princess Haya bint Al Hussein, wife of Shaikh Mohammed bin Rashid.
