Sewa offers service guidelines for free

SHARJAH - In line with Sharjah Electricity and Water Authority's (Sewa) commitment to provide quality services and a wide range of facilities to its clients, a new customer service booklet was recently launched by the authority and will soon be available at Sharjah bookshops, according to Hamed Taher, Customer Service Manager at Sewa.

"The newly-introduced booklet which will be free of cost will provide customers with adequate and detailed information about the various documents and procedures required to accomplish various personal transactions," he said.

In addition, other general information will be available to the clients to enquire about such as the electricity service and the necessary documents and procedures required to connect or disconnect electricity, how to renew the rental contracts, change or install an additional meter in homes, natural gas supply service and the necessary documents to permit its use at homes, villas, restaurants and hotels.

Mr Taher said that Sewa had come up with the idea of publishing the booklet to adequately answer all possible questions that clients may have about Sewa's services. General instructions on how to maintain a safe home are also included in the booklet. "We want modernise the services rendered by Sewa to the customers and we are looking for providing maximum satisfaction to our clients," he said.
