Many students wade through waist-deep water to head to neighbour's house for online classes
The centre has divided Falaaj Hazaa district into two areas, because of mixed population and government offices in this district. One area contains around 440 residential properties and the second around 440 residential properties, 26 schools and 14 government offices.
The centre’s Managing Director, Majed Al Mansouri, said the project requires intensification of efforts, focusing on increased awareness among Al Ain residents.
Thirty-five students from the Family Foundation Centre, Al Manasair Secondary School and Abu Dhabi University participated in the public awareness campaign on the first day of the campaign.
The students visited homes and highlighted the importance of the project, creating awareness among housewives about the importance of their cooperation in the project and how it would reflect positively on their environment.
The students distributed informative leaflets in four languages – Arabic, English Tagalog and Urdu – and stickers to Falaaj Hazaa residents.
