Salary advances paid to teachers

DUBAI — Salary advances of Dh1,065,000 have been reportedly paid to the 213 newly-recruited teachers from Egypt, Jordan and Syria.

Advances of Dh 5000 paid to each of the male and female teachers are to be deducted from their September and October salaries, according sources in the Ministry of Education.

The female teachers have already checked in at five-star hotels, and are to stay there for three days until they finish the procedures of recruitment and medical fitness tests.

The loans distributed are as follows: Abu Dhabi (Dh225,000), Al Ain (Dh240,000), Al Gharbiya (Dh100,000), Dubai (Dh150,000), Sharjah (Dh 75,000), Ajman (Dh 60,000), Umm Al Quwain (Dh35,000), Ras Al Khaimah (Dh50,000), and Sharjah Education Office (Dh55,000).
